Fil-Am guitarist Joey Santiago of the Pixies discusses the contents of EP-1, their much anticipated new record in over two decades.
On September 3rd, the Pixies released EP-1, a collection of much anticipated new material since 1991’s “Trompe Le Monde” EP-1 contained fresh new material and was available exclusively on the band’s website as a DDL and as a limited edition 10 inch vinyl disc. In 1 day it sold out. On October 2nd, the band released the music video for “Andro Queen”, the lead off- track from EP-1. Shortly after, they released the music video for “What Goes Boom” on November 19.
On December 13, Pixies lead guitarist, Joey Santiago took some time to chat with us before embarking on their North American Tour which begins on January 15, 2014.
