Josie Natori’s Asian Inspired Collection

The Josie Natori Spring/Summer 2016 Collection was presented at The Space at Skylight Clarkson Sq. in New York City on September 10, 2015. The entire collection was inspired by Asian painting and calligraphy, demostrated by graphic brushstoke prints that appear on several of the black and white evening wear pieces. The Asian theme continued on to kimono inspired ensembles as well as the raw silk gowns. Intricate detailing were showcased on embroidered cocktail dresses. She rounded off the collection with vibrant colors, presenting orange, fuschia and pea green pieces, honoring the season.

Over all, the collection presented a classic Natori style of elegance and grace in muted tones with pops of color mixed in to keep it interesting and young.
